Cambered Bar Isometric Back Squat

-Coaching Points for Isometric Squat

-Rack bar mid-chest height

-Bar rests on or slightly above scapular spine, avoid placing the bar on the lower neck

-Stance: slightly wider than shoulder width

-Focus weight on the heels

-Toes point slightly outward

-Big chest/tight back

-Knees track in-line with the toes

-Push your butt back in the down phase

-Pull down into the bottom of the squat and stop abruptly

-The isometric count begins when the athlete is in the bottom of the squat

-Hold at the bottom of the squat for the isometric count
